Qualifications
Experience operating Vermeer and Ditch Witch directional drills, vacuum excavators, mini excavators, and other specialized underground utility equipment.
Other Requirements
• Knowledge of utility locating practices and technologies (ground-penetrating radar, electronic pipe/cable locators, etc) •Familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety standards. Experience with Plows and Missile Boring is a plus.
Job Description
Our team is seeking an experienced dynamic duo – Directional Drill Operators and Locators for significant telecommunications network projects in Virginia and Pennsylvania.
Experience operating vacuum excavators, mini excavators, Vermeer and Ditch Witch directional drills, and GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) and other specialized underground utility equipment to ensure safe installation of conduit.
• Experience operating vacuum excavators, mini excavators, Vermeer and Ditch Witch directional drills, and other specialized underground utility equipment to ensure safe installation of conduit.
• Interpret utility plans, maps, and blueprints to locate existing infrastructure and plan new installations or repairs.
• Conduct site inspections to identify hazards, ensure safety, and verify project specifications.
Maintain daily logs and reports documenting work performed, materials used, and any incidents or issues encountered.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulatory standards to protect yourself, your team, and the public.
