$1800.00 to $2500.00 Per Week depending on skill set & production/Unit Pay. 1 week NET/Direct Deposit Paid Weekly. (NO PER DIEM)
Qualifications
Contractors with Fiber or Cable Technician experience.
Other Requirements
TRUCK / VAN with ladder rack and 28" ladder, Fiber/light meter (We can finance tools). MUST HAVE Valid drivers license, vehicle registration, and insurance and be able to pass a background check.

We're looking for hard-working and knowledgeable cable installers to work as Field Service Technicians. As a Fiber OR Cable Technician, you will learn how to install new cable, high-speed internet, digital telephone systems and provide our customers with cable, internet, and telephone. The purpose of the Fiber Technician is to be responsible for the terminating, splicing, bonding/grounding, documenting, and testing of all fiber optic cables within the system's fiber-optic networks. And, Installing and setting up HDTV and/or DVR boxes, High-Speed Internet, and Digital Telephone service.
What you will be doing:
Working inside and outside of the customer's home (roof, crawlspace, living spaces)
MUST BE Comfortable with crawl spaces/basements
Installing and setting up HDTV and/or DVR boxes, High-Speed Internet, and Digital Telephone service
Ability to provide efficient, quality customer service to internal and external customers both face-to-face and over-the-phone.
Successfully routing services from the service point throughout the customer's home
Perform cable/fiber testing and splicing
MUST BE Comfortable with heights and climbing/carrying large objects
Connecting fiber optic jumpers and drops (AERIAL, BURIED )
May require running of temporary fiber drop in a manner that does not pose a safety hazard to the public
Locate buried copper and fiber optic cabling *Initializing set up a box for activation on the fiber network
Programming of remote controls Educating customers on video products and services
Troubleshooting Existing services and bringing installations up to quality-control standards
Adding/removing additional requested services for existing customers Job Requirements
Experience cabling various electronic components (e.g., modems, routers, TVs, stereo systems, and home entertainment systems).
Experience working with CAT 5 and COAX wiring or Fiber.
Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
Fundamental computer, network, and electronics skills and knowledge *Basic organization skills
Work independently in the field with little supervision.
Ability to perform job activities outdoors in different weather conditions (e.g., extreme cold and/or heat, inclement weather).
When working aloft, an employee's weight and tools combined may not exceed the 280-pound weight limit as specified by the manufacturer. *Meet the safety restriction weight limit of 275 lbs.
Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs.
Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
Must be able to visually distinguish colors.
Must be mechanically inclined
Must have strong customer service skills.
Must have good math skills
Excellent time management skills are essential
Must be detail-oriented.
Willing to work weekends.
