Qualifications
Demonstrable experience in Coax, fiber optic installation (Fiber I&R), including fiber drops, ONT, and router setup in a residential environment, A valid Driver's License and current vehicle registration.
Other Requirements
Must own a reliable truck, van, or SUV equipped with a ladder rack capable of safely transporting a 28-foot ladder, Required personal tools include a fiber/light meter and a visual fault locator, Must possess a valid Android device for job management and communication.
Job Description
We are seeking skilled and self-motivated Coax and Fiber Optic Technicians to join our network as Independent Contractors. This role is ideal for experienced professionals with a proven track record in residential fiber optic installations. You will be responsible for providing best-in-class service to customers, ensuring high-quality installations and network performance. This is a production-based role with significant earning potential, offering consistent, year-round work.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform end-to-end residential Coax and fiber optic installations, including installing, repairing, and maintaining Coax and fiber drops, Optical Network Terminals (ONTs), and routers.
Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and meets strict quality and safety guidelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, utilizing tools such as a fiber light meter and visual fault locator to diagnose and fix connectivity problems.
Manage daily work assignments to meet production goals and customer appointments in a timely manner.
Maintain a professional and customer-centric approach in all interactions.
Compensation & Terms:
Pay: $1,400.00 to $2,300.00 per week, contingent on skill set and production output.
Payment Schedule: Direct deposit paid weekly.
Start Date: Immediate start available upon successful completion of a background check, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review, and drug screening.
