Qualifications
We are hiring Laborers, Utility Locators, and Drillers to join our growing underground utilities team. These are hands-on, physically demanding outdoor jobs that require strong work ethic, safety awareness, and a team-focused mindset. Other Requirements
Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license. Authorized to work in the United States. Ability to work outdoors in hot, physically demanding conditions. Be a team player with a strong work ethic. Willingness to learn and follow instructions. Prior experience in underground utilities, drilling, or locating is a plus but not required.
Job Description
Laborer
Set utility vaults and underground structures
Backfill holes and trenches
Dump and clean hydro vac machines
Maintain equipment and keep job sites clean
Assist in locating marked utilities before digging
Drive company trucks to and from job sites
Work in the heat and lift heavy materials
Support crew in daily operations and follow safety protocols
Locator
Read and interpret utility maps and blueprints
Accurately locate and mark underground utility lines (fiber, electric, water, etc.)
Use locator equipment safely and effectively
Communicate clearly with the team to prevent utility strikes
Maintain records of locate activities
Must have attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
Driller
Operate directional drilling equipment for utility installations
Monitor bore path and adjust equipment as needed
Set up and break down drill equipment and work zones
Work closely with locator to avoid existing utilities
Maintain drilling machines and tools
Ensure work is completed to spec and on schedule
