Job Description
FIber installation work in and around Cortland, Ithaca, and Truxton NY
PAY $1,800-3,000 per week
1099 Contractor Position
Technician would need to have their own vehicle, tools, step ladders, etc. Fiber should already be to the home and have light so work will consist of bringing signal into the home and deploying network and phone hardware inside.
Tech will need knowledge of fiber, CAT6 cabling, PoE connections, and capable of terminating RJ45 ends/punchdown connections on CAT6 cabling, as well as understanding of deploying network equipment.
Potential to work trouble tickets, and assist in aerial drops.
