Responsibilities:
• Day-to-day drilling and pullback of various sized conduits for outside plant fiber networks
• Work is performed under master service agreements with telecom carriers and regional utilities
• The work consists of new builds, maintenance, and restoration in rural and metro areas
• Must be able to locate underground utilities and monitor locating process during drilling
• Read prints and demonstrate good judgement in the field
• Work as a team in tandem with supervisor, manager and other crew members
• Perform all duties adhering to company safety procedures and policies
What you will need:
• High school diploma or GED required. Some college or vocational training preferred
• Must have a working knowledge of construction, the National Electrical Code, OSHA regulations, state and local regulations and general
safety standards
• Class A license
• 1 year experience working in an operating position. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel,
or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 95 lbs
• The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud
• While performing the duties of this job, the Employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The Employee must be able to
work in an outdoor environment year around in all weather conditions. The Employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical
shock, radiation, and vibration
• Employees may be required to work more than 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings
and weekends as business demands
