Job Description
Qualifications:
Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in underground utility construction or related QC role.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal construction codes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with testing methods for soil compaction, pipe installation, and concrete.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites.
Preferred:
• Certifications such as NICET, ACI, OSHA 30, or equivalent.
• Experience with GPS, total station, or other surveying tools.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Working Conditions:
• Work is performed on active construction sites with exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, dust, and heavy equipment.
• May require lifting up to 50 lbs, walking on uneven terrain, and working in confined spaces or trenches.
• Occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary depending on project demands.
