Job Description
We are currently seeking full-time experienced and dedicated Fiber Splicers for our Aerial Division. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company with opportunities for career growth as we continue to expand.

** LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY AT THIS TIME**
**$3,000 SIGN ON BONUS AFTER 90 DAYS**
Responsibilities Include:
Oversee complete splicing team
Performs tasks associated with the electronic upgrade and splicing of cable
Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation
Safely use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, and more.
Safely operate mechanized equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derrick, excavators, and more.
Basic daily maintenance of provided vehicle: check fluids, clean and organize vehicle
Self-supervise all operations to ensure that all splicing operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications.
Safely operate and use bucket truck to complete daily construction assignments as needed (potentially climb poles)
Complete daily production reports, mark-up maps, keep track of work hours, complete "as-built maps" for areas built and track daily production
Reconcile all issued parts and materials on a daily basis to ensure accurate material usage counts.
Frequently work independently
Safety oriented: able to set work zones up properly, use PPE, follow safe work practices, policies and procedures set for by our company
Other splicing related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to read and understand prints/maps, safety rules, and operating instructions.
Must have knowledge of established fiber optic installation, splice procedures and techniques.
Able to lift 50lbs
A valid, unrestricted driver’s license (Required)
Must have a clean driving record (Required)
Fiber splicing: 2 years (Required)
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Work mandatory overtime as required
Able to obtain DOT medical card
Must be authorized to work in the United States
