Qualifications
Proficient in reading and interpreting telecom construction prints, schematics, and splice diagrams (OSP and ISP). Understands cable pair counts, color codes, and fiber assignments. Experienced in using OTDRs, fusion splicers, power meters, and other splicing and testing tools. Capable of performing aerial, underground, and buried cable work including placement, restoration, and maintenance. Shows up on time, ready to work, with minimal supervision.
Other Requirements
No smoking, vaping, and tobacco. Requesting someone with a clean look and problem-solving skills. Also, must be able to travel or relocate to Colorado Springs. Adheres strictly to safety protocols (OSHA, DOT, company-specific), including use of PPE, traffic control procedures, and ladder/aerial safety. Maintains high standards of workmanship; ensures clean, organized splice cases and accurate documentation. Able to lift heavy tools/materials, work at heights, in manholes, or inclement weather.
