Job Description
We are looking for an experienced fiber optic splicer/tester located in the south western Virginia area willing and able to work independently and run projects from start to finish in both an OSP and ISP environment.
- Splice lose tube and ribbon fiber optic cables
- Terminating various types of connectors
- Build fiber enclosures and termination panels to customer spec
-Troubleshoot and perform maintenance to resolve damaged fibers
- Reading and interpreting existing fiber records
-Perform testing utitilizing OTDR's, Power Meter/Light Sources
-ability to read, create & maintain accurate splicing schematics & records.
- provide timely reports to office team
