Pay
$20 to $25 for people with 1 year or less of FTTH or other residential / commercial internet/cable tv skills. $25 to $30 for techs with more than a year of experience.
Qualifications
FTTH experience. Valid and insurable Drivers License. Able to use hand tools, test sets and company issued tools. able to lift 60 IBS, move and climb ladders. Work in confined spaces. Able to see and identify cable colors.
Other Requirements
Can work in the US without sponsorship.
Job Description
Allstates Consulting Services is seeking dedicated Field Service Technicians to become part of our expanding team in the Nashville NC, Charlotte NC, Columbia SC, and Detroit MI markets. These are full-time, direct hire W2 positions.
Your role will involve the installation, maintenance, and repair of FTTH equipment to meet customer requirements and company standards. You'll ensure customers receive top-notch service while working in residential, commercial, and retail spaces.
Responsibilities
• Manage all last mile connections, including home and business networks, and maintain related equipment.
• Use network performance tools to troubleshoot issues.
• Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and install Broadband services such as Wi-Fi routers and smart home devices.
• Route Fiber Optic drop cables from termination boxes to router locations.
• Connect clients to in-home and business networks.
• Assist clients in connecting their home devices to the Ripple Fiber network.
