Job Description

Gagecon’s Field Construction Supervisors are valuable in ensuring the projects are successful and prepared. Supervisor’s will be responsible for ensuring field walkouts are being completed to ensure proposed plans will result in successful outcomes. Supervisor will ensure all walkouts will be performed ahead of the OSP contractor crews and any/all discrepancies with designs are immediately communicated back to our business partner for resolution. This position will assist the field splicing crews with technical and material challenges to ensure success. Position will be required to perform field QC and complete a QC checklist for each job verifying the work was performed according to client’s specifications. All failed QC’s/gigs are given to the responsible subcontractor to correct to ensure timely invoicing. Position will require continuous monitoring and training of quality/craftsmanship and new procedures to the subcontractors handed down from the client. Position will be required to routinely communicate updates internal and external via email, phone, text. The Field Supervisor must be comfortable speaking on project calls with the client, highly detailed, collaborative, task oriented and self-motivated. On the job training is provided along with opportunities of advancement and relocation if desired.

Tasks:
• Field walkouts to ensure proposed design prints are accurate
• Resource for field subcontractor and their success
• Perform field QC checks to ensure quality work and performed per design
• Perform training and guidance to sub-contractor partners
• Invoice verification for field work
• Resolve field complaints from property owners related to field work performed
• Communicate and work close with OSP contractor crews on company/project goals
• Enforcement of field safe working practices
• Coordinate permitting and make-ready process.
• Adhere to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable.
• Communicate with Manager or designated delegate to provide updates about construction progress.
• Establish positive BP relations through effective communication and ongoing support.
• Know, understand and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as requested by the manager.
