Job Description
Job Requirements:
Must be able to drive at least 2 hours to the job site-availability to travel to work sites.
Must be able to carry and handle a 28'/32' ladder.
Must be competent in computer programs such as Microsoft (outlook, teams, excel, etc.)
Must be proficient in fiber to the home.
Must be available Monday-Saturday and on call for emergencies
Able to operate heavy machinery.
Cable Supervisors will work to ensure that their team is completing the work assigned as stated below and be the leader of that team. We are a telecommunications cable company. We install equipment this could be phone lines, internet cables or cable television. Cable Technicians often work directly with the customer, and customer service is a big part of this job, as is the technical know-how to use diagnostic equipment and tools to service telecommunications equipment. Technicians must perform quality control inspections on installations. Good Driving Record with limited tickets, Ability to utilize a 28’ ladder (75 lbs), availability to work early/late hours and ability to maintain safe driving practices at all times while driving a Company owned vehicle.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Service and trouble-shoot work.
Responsible for making sure that techs completing work orders and retrieving proper signatures for accurate billing.
Ensure all installation work is done according to quality standards.
Report to dispatch according to company procedures.
Assist with work overflow
Follow all company policy and procedures.
Adhere to safety policy.
Perform Installation work as required
Perform Quality control inspections
Helping with training when needed with techs
Quality Control Inspections on your own work
Drive Company vehicle
Install HSD/Cable/Phone Service as per work order
Communicate with Management and Customers
Manage Time Effectively and meet scheduled timeframes
