Experience in the Telecom, Utility, Construction, or Engineering industries is essential, along with a strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optics, coaxial cables, and copper wiring. Proficiency in reading blueprints and splicing diagrams is required, as well as hands-on experience with cable splicing and termination. A solid background in operating hand and power tools, cable-pulling machinery, and aerial lift equipment is highly preferred.

The role requires the ability to climb poles, use ladders, and safely operate a bucket truck after completing the required safety training. Strong attention to detail is necessary to ensure all work meets quality standards. A valid driver’s license is required, with a current CDL preferred.

Key Qualifications:
-Previous experience in Telecom, Utility, Construction, and/or Engineering industry.
-Knowledge and understanding of Telecommunications Infrastructure, including fiber optics, coaxial cables, and copper wires.
-Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment like cable splicing tools, test meters, and bucket trucks.
-Proficiency in operating cable-pulling machinery, trenches, and aerial lift equipment.
-Experience in splicing and terminating fiber optic and copper cables.
-Ability to read and understand splicing diagrams and blueprints.
-Valid Driver's License
-Current CDL desired

Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
-Aerial and Underground (UG) plant quality control repairs after initial construction.
-Operation of Bucket Truck following all safety and traffic regulations (after passing safety course).
-Assisting with items found to not meet quality standards to include (but not limited to):
*Coax Splicing
*Snowshoes
*Ped and round rod placements
*Riser guards, anchors, guys, etc.
-Climbing poles/ladder use is required.
-Must operate hand and power tools of all types.
-Ensuring work is done according to quality standards.
