Job Description:
As a Fiber Technician with Total Quality Network, you will play a key role in connecting customers to fiber networks by running cables, installing equipment, and providing excellent customer support. This position involves outdoor and indoor work, and we supply all the tools and trucks needed.
Key Responsibilities:
*Fiber Installation: Run fiber from poles or underground lines to customer homes, ensuring quality and safety.
*Equipment Setup: Install and configure customer equipment, including modems and routers, for strong, stable internet connectivity.
*Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct tests to confirm connection quality, troubleshoot issues, and resolve them on-site.
*Customer Education: Instruct customers on device usage, basic troubleshooting, and optimizing their service.
*Safety & Compliance: Follow safety guidelines, local regulations, and company protocols during installation and service.
Qualifications:
*Experience in fiber optics installation, telecommunications, or a related field.
*Familiarity with network equipment, such as modems and routers.
*Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented approach.
*Physical ability to work outdoors, climb ladders, and handle equipment as required.
*Valid driver’s license.
