Qualifications
Minimum 2 years' experience in jetting fiber. Minimum 3 years' experience running a mini excavator and digging around live utilities.
Other Requirements
Valid driver's license, ability to work overtime as needed and willingness to travel within New York State. Benefits: Option to join 1249 Union, Paid Time Off (PTO), and overtime opportunities. O/T after 8 hours
Job Description
Job Duties:
- Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials, equipment, or tools.
- Load and unload materials, supplies, or equipment from trucks, trailers, or other vehicles.
- Operate hand tools, fiber Jetter, mini excavator, power tools, or machinery to complete tasks.
- Follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ability to lift 75lbs
-Operate and maintain heavy machinery including but not limited to mini excavators.
-Perform routine inspections and maintenance on all equipment to ensure optimal performance.
-Assist in the transportation of materials using dump trucks and other vehicles.
-Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise and report any significant problems to the supervisor.
