40 plus hours weekly, Monday thru Friday shift with possible overtime
Pay
$26.00 to $40.00 per hour depending on experience, knowledge and work ethic.
Qualifications
5 years experience in Directional Drilling and Utility Field. Common knowledge on all equipment involving underground construction
Other Requirements
Current PA CDL license , PPE , Must be able to pass a drug screening. I-9 required
Job Description
Directional Drill Locators/Operators in "Berks Co., PA" and the surrounding areas that are motivated individuals with a positive attitude, and strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will process the following skills, experience and requirements:
Candidate will supply proof of valid CDL driver's license. 5 years of experience in Directional locating/drilling, in both standard and high-risk areas to include live and operational utilities. Responsible for assisting Drill Operator in locating drill head and drilling in accordance with blueprints. Verify locate marks and confirm location of existing facilities. Assist with clean-up and other duties as assigned. Be responsible for maintaining equipment per manufacturer’s specifications and safety guidelines. • Operates drilling equipment and various other construction equipment
• Experience drilling in both standard and high-risk areas, such as areas with live utilities
• Have knowledge of utility depths and placement
• Possess general knowledge of construction practices and be familiar with equipment
• Respect the importance of ensuring Company assets (vehicles, equipment, tools, etc.) are properly and continuously maintained in good
repair and secured in a safe manner
• Organization of materials and other resources is necessary to complete excavation requirements, which may include basic hand tools
• Dig and back-fill trenches by hand and Deliver materials to job sites
• Locate Utilities; Tracking for driller; Handle and fuse pipe; Change drill bits and tools
• Assist in the routine maintenance and lubrication of rig equipment and trucks
• Assist in the inspection of all equipment
