Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience with fiber splicing, testing, and fiber construction. Extensive knowledge with CWDM, DWDM, and PON networks. Experience with Comcast network is strongly preferred. Knowledge of fiber optic counts, fiber assignments, and splicing schematics. Must have a strong understanding of design and construction of MDU and Outside Plant (UG and Aerial). Must be available to work weekends and overnight when needed.

Job Description
As a Fiber Splicer, you are responsible to produce end-to-end fiber optic networks. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.
Comcast/Genesis experience +
Must know how to troubleshoot Fiber.
Ability to train and lead other Fiber Splicers
5+ years of hands-on experience with fiber splicing, testing, and fiber construction.

Knowledge of fiber equipment i.e. fusion splicer, test equipment OTDR, 945 OLTS, Max Tester, Power meter.
Must have a strong understanding of design and construction of MDU and Outside Plant (UG and Aerial).
Highly organized, self-starter, and detail oriented.
Must be available to work weekends and overnight when needed.
