Job Description
Please read carefully:
Technicians must be fully equipped with all essential fiber optic tools, including a fusion splicer, 28-foot ladder, safety equipment, and a van or pickup truck. This contract involves residential installations for Metronet in the Minneapolis area, with the installation process requiring fusion splicing.
New technicians are required to undergo 1-2 weeks of training. During this training period, they will focus exclusively on drop installation tasks, as this is a critical component of the overall installation process. Once training is complete, technicians will transition to full installations. While in training, technicians will be compensated for each drop job completed, along with per diem allowances.
Rate cards and Certificate of Insurance (COI) requirements will be made available upon request after signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and Non-Compete (NC) agreement. Codes are stackable, and the company covers per diem expenses.
The onboarding process typically takes 2-3 days.
