Job Description
Gridsource is looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate in Ocala, FL.
Job Summary:
Will be responsible for all day to day warehouse activities including but not limited to, Inventory & good record keeping, Loading & unloading all shipments / contractors, Keep WH and yard clean, Wash & clean trucks / trailers when needed, Help out at Micanopy WH when needed, Deliver materials / equipment to the field, Help supervisors with light duty tasks when needed, Must have a positive attitude and show up M-F at designated times. (Possible weekend work from time to time.) Must be able to operate a forklift. CDL is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Keep warehouse and yard clean
Wash & clean trucks / trailers when needed
Help out at Micanopy warehouse when needed
Deliver materials / equipment to the field
Help supervisors with light duty tasks when needed,
Receive and process warehouse materials (pick, unload, label, store)
Drive box truck multiple times a week to pick up material from Cox warehouse
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
Complete diary logs into inventory
Report any discrepancies
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, & regulations
Other duties as assigned
Additional Requirements:
Forklift Certified
Valid Driver’s License
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel MS Word, Outlook, in particular)
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
A positive attitude and willingness to take on various tasks to support the team
