Must have valid driver's license with acceptable MVR; Able to pass background check, DOT physical, drug and alcohol testing; previous construction background required; Class A CDL not required, but preferred (higher wage scale for CDL holders); General social skills to communicate with crew members if problems arise; Able to lift 50 lbs; Willingness to learn
Job Description
Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel.
Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members.
Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear and safety needs.
Regularly reporting project status to supervisors.
Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably.
Climb telephone poles and work in a bucket truck
This is a full-time hourly, Monday through Friday position with overtime, medical/dental benefits after 90 days. (Other benefits include: death, PTO, and a competitive 401k program).
Must be able to build strand, place and lash any fiber or coax.
