Job Description
SUMMARY OF JOB: Manages the day to day operations of the warehouse.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Ensures sufficient materials are on hand for completion of assigned jobs.
- Completes monthly vehicular, safety equipment, company and personnel tool
inspection per time schedule as outlined in safety manual.
- Responsible for cleaning of tools, equipment and vehicles.
- Ensures cleanliness of warehouse and facility and disposal of wreck out material.
- Ensures security of storage area and/or warehouse.
- Perform daily weekly and monthly vehicle inspections.
- Assists with setting up inventory for daily trucks needs
- Stocks materials, tools and equipment.
- Makes pick-up and deliveries to work sites as needed.
- Disassembles electronics returned from the field (wreckout).
- Assists with other company warehouse duties at other locations as needed.
- Assists crews in the field (driving, traffic control, etc.) as needed.
- Checks, maintains and uses proper safety equipment as issued and/or purchased
in conformance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and company
safety rules and regulations.
- Evaluates equipment and materials needs to ensure work is done without loss in
productivity.
- Other functions that may be assigned
