Gridsource seeks a full-time Horizontal Directional Drill Locator interested in a long-term career in underground telecommunications/cable industry in Micanopy/Gainesville, FL. Responsibilities include day-to-day drilling and pullback of conduits for fiber networks. Most work is under master service agreements with telecom carriers and utilities, involving new builds, maintenance, and restoration in rural and metro areas.

What You’ll Do
• Locate underground utilities and monitor the locating process during drilling
• Read prints and exercise good judgment in the field
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, managers, and crew members
• Adhere to company safety procedures and policies

What You’ll Need
• -Must pass Background and Drug screening.
• -Good driving record required + valid drivers license
• -Ability to lift 75+ lbs. continuously.
• -Work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
