Currently able to perform complete mixed (aerial and underground) fiber drops including splicing
Other Requirements
Drop plow capable of burying to 12 inches. Able to hang aerial drops at heights of 32ft. Smart phone or equivalent for software/paperwork involved. Must be stick bore capable (driveways/sidewalks). Fluent English required.
Job Description
*Installation:
Perform installation of fiber optic cables both underground and overhead.
Route and secure cables in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Use appropriate tools and equipment for installation tasks.
*Splicing:
Conduct fiber optic splicing to ensure high-quality connections.
Utilize fusion splicing and mechanical splicing techniques.
*Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of installations
*Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working in various environments.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
*Customer Interaction:
Communicate effectively with customers to address concerns and provide updates on installation and repair status.
Deliver excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
