Job Description
Gridsource Inc. LLC, is looking for a Directional Bore Operator/Locator to join our fast-paced growing team in Lake Charles / Sulphur Location.
The training will be out of our Bossier City office; We will provide stay during trainings.

Qualifications: We will train qualified candidates. Candidates with previous locating experience is a plus! Local applicants are preferred. Pre-Employment testing to include MVR, Drug Screen and Background. All Applicants MUST have an acceptable driving record. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Description: Gridsource Inc. LLC, is seeking a full-time Directional Bore operator / Locator interested in building a long-term career in the underground telecommunications / Gas / cable industry interested in building a long-term career in the underground Gas Utilities. The Job consists of day-to-day drilling and pullback of various sized conduits or pipe for outside plant. The work consists of new builds, maintenance, and restoration in rural and metro areas.
The scope of work varies between each job and candidates must be able to:
* Locate underground utilities and monitor locating process during drilling
* Read prints and demonstrate good judgement in the field
* Work as a team in tandem with supervisor, manager and other crew members
* Perform all duties adhering to company safety procedures and policies
Experience:
* Operating locating equipment and Boring equipment is a plus: We will train qualified candidates - Previous locating or drilling experience is a plus!
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
* While performing the duties of this job, the Employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The Employee must be able to work in an outdoor environment year around in all weather conditions. The Employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock, radiation, and vibration.
* Employees may be required to work more than 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
