Job Description
We are looking for a Grooms Tech, who will be primarily responsible for performing Remote Logical Grooms of Transport Circuits from old to new paths.
This is a long term and FULLY REMOTE JOB.
Responsibilities:
Pre-configure new circuit ports and logical cross-connections.
Pretest new logical circuit paths.
Resolve design discrepancies with the Planner.
Perform Remote Logical Grooms of Transport circuits from old to new paths – comprehensive experience with a wide variety of network equipment required.
Validate grooms are successful with no outstanding alarms – [this is where the rubber meets the road].
De-provision old circuit path and ports.
Location is remote anywhere, though strong preference for Tulsa given most customer points of contact will be at the Lumen/Level 3 Tulsa office.
Requirements:
