Qualifications
Must be committed to safe digging and fully understand and comply with local dig laws. Class A CDL License, Valid Drivers License, minimum 3 years experience with verifiable references. Ability to read prints and work safely around utilities. Must be dependable, respectful, and motivated.

Job Description
Duties:
· Operate Horizontal Directional Drill and/or locate for installation of underground telecommunications cable conduit, including fiber optic cable.
· Setup and cleanup work sites including traffic and pedestrian control.
· Read utility locates and coordinate day lighting of these facilities.
· Ensure all applicable permits and locates are complete and on-site.
· Operate vehicles and equipment operations from trucks to other equipment as directed and certified.
· Understand and practice all safety procedures in compliance with OSHA standards.
· Perform proper maintenance by greasing, oiling, and making minor repairs on equipment.
· Lead teams in the field effectively as needed and directed by supervisor
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of operating machinery.
· Must be able to operate machinery in all weather conditions and terrains.
· Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
Additional Details:
- Expected Hours: 40-60 hours per week, OT pay available
- 10 hour Dayshift
- Weekends off
- Year Round Work
- Weekly Pay
- Monthly Production Bonus
