Job Description
GridSource Inc. LLC, has an immediate need for Buried Drop Sub-Contractors in the Maricopa County, Phoenix Metro area and the Tucson area of Arizona.
A Sub-Contractor must bury service lines from the terminal to residence working with both Fiber and Copper drops. Corp to Corp Requirements:
• Must have all necessary tools and equipment to place cable at required depth of 8in, including plowing, boring, and hand digging.
• Must have drop plows or missile as well as the capability to perform road and driveway bores
• Must have experience burying drops, road and driveway bores
• Ladder may be needed in some cases to secure drop to pole
• 30-day net term with early pay options available
• Must have required insurance
• This is long term work Service Drop placement on private property shall have a minimum depth of 6 inches. Service Drop excavation / placement work operations require continuous wire placement from the serving terminal / splice location to the Network Interface Device (“NID”)/ “ONT”) whenever possible. Excavation work requiring the crossing of, or detours over, under or around non-hard surface obstructions, such as landscape sprinklers, underground utilities, drainage or irrigation ditches, marshes, trees, bushes, and property markers are included in the SVC DRP ALL IN – PRIVATE PROPERTY Unit price. No additional compensation will be made when hand-digging, boring or tunneling is required due to these obstructions.
