Job Description
Aerial Coax/Fiber Lineman
Previous experience as a CATV lineman. Knowledge of CATV construction
Requirements:
Experience with CATV/Broadband construction specifications
Must have experience placing strand, coax, and fiber
Familiar with operation of a bucket truck
Ability to climb poles with hooks and belts
Must be able to read and understand prints
Capable of lifting 85lbs at a full range of motion
Able to perform all duties in telecommunications construction (such as pole transfer, maintenance builds, new build, cable installation, over lash, and strand construction)
Safely use hand tools and equipment (such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, and more)
Must have a valid Driver’s License
Must be able to pass pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check, drug test, and job related physical
Some overnight hours are required
Must be able to work all over the St. Louis, MO metropolitan area.
