Job Description
Ramapo Communications Corp. is seeking a Driller / Locator for our Horizontal Drill Equipment. The project is located in Southwest Missouri and involves installing Conduit/Fiber. Class A CDL license is required. Compensation is determined by experience. Must be willing to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time. Previous Horizontal Directional drilling experience of 2 years or more is a must. Rock drilling experience on a Ditch Witch AT is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Horizontal Drill and communicate with locater
- Assist with potholing, hand holes, and completing tie ins
- Drive equipment to jobsite
- Set up equipment including drills and water tanks
- Assist with the install of proper pulling gear and hook up product
- Communicates with supervisor daily to turn in required daily reporting (bore log reports, Job Safety Analysis, etc.)
- Complies with safety procedures while driving and at the jobsite.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Horizontal Directional Drilling Experience.
- Strong knowledge of underground utilities
- Self motivated, safety, quality and production minded
- Maintain valid commercial drivers license A, with airbrake endorsement.
- Cable plow/Trencher, excavator, hydrovac operator experience is a plus.
