As a General Laborer, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our goals by assisting the driller/foreman in preparing job sites, locating existing utilities, and performing a variety of tasks in a warehouse or construction site. You will work alongside a team of skilled professionals, learning from the best in the industry and developing new skills along the way.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the driller/foreman in preparing job sites and performing other tasks as assigned
- Locate existing utilities on the job site and report any discrepancies to the foreman
- Perform manual labor using shovels, rock bars, raking, and sweeping to prepare the job site and ensure a safe work environment
- Operate machinery, such as skid steers or mini-excavators, as directed by the foreman
- Assist skilled tradespeople, such as electricians or plumbers, as needed
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored
- Comply with all safety procedures and regulations
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor for extended periods of time
- CDL preferred, but not required
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- High school diploma or equivalent
