Job Description
Gridsource Inc., LLC has an opening for an Underground Driller in the Central FL area.
Job Summary:
Must have the knowledge in operating a JT-10 Ditch Witch Bore Machine, have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a bore rig driller, must be able to work with crew locator and other crew members and may be required to spot utilities as part of daily requirement. Must be able to do preventative maintenance on drill and crew equipment. CDL is preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Observe all safety rules and regulations.
• Assist other technical personnel in the performance of their duties when requested.
Must convey a positive and professional appearance and demeanor when communicating the company's products and services to our customers.
• Accountability/dependability (on time and on load when scheduled and serve on call as needed).
• Teamwork (technical expertise developed to complete work efficiently to achieve work group key service measures).
• Active Listening (ability to take input from customers, APS and co-workers to problem solve and improve skills.
• Asking relevant questions to ensure problems are resolved quickly or to clarify information or directions.)
• Active Learning (curious seeker of new information and actively works to improve skills and knowledge)
• Assume all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Must have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This includes lace up boots with a defined 1/2-inch heel, a hard hat, a reflective safety vest, a fall resistor, and safety cones.
• Must be available to work flexible hours. Weekend work may be required.
• Must be able to pass Background and Drug screening.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Must be able to lift 75+ lbs. continuously.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and complete tasks assigned in a timely manner.
