Job Description
Gridsource Inc. LLC., is looking for a Telecom field Inspector in Buda TX with at least 1 year of installing FTTH for a telecom provider or contracting company.
Responsibilities:
• Must have dependable vehicle.
• Works closely with internal groups, design, permit and manage construction of new fiber
network. Attend company and client status meetings as required.
• Monitors infrastructure builds and reviews and approves work that has met customer’s
construction standards.
• Provide detailed daily/weekly reports.
• Will meet with contractors, permitting agencies, Engineering firms, customers, other OSP
engineers and vendors to coordinate/mitigate projects.
• Utilizes a variety of systems for the processing and reporting of work activities, documentation of
projects
• Manage contractors/subcontractors
• Experience with OTDR testing and interpreting results a plus
Requirements:
• Must be able to pass Background and Drug screening.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Must be able to lift 75+ lbs. continuously.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and complete tasks assigned in a timely manner.
