Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee and manage construction projects related to telecommunications infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient completion of construction projects while adhering to safety protocols, quality standards, and budgetary constraints. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a deep understanding of telecommunications construction processes.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of telecommunications construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure project objectives are met.
Team Leadership:
• Supervise and provide guidance to construction crews, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Assign tasks, set performance expectations, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork among all team members.
Quality Assurance:
• Enforce adherence to telecommunications construction standards, codes, and regulations.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain quality standards.
Budget and Cost Management:
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project budgets.
• Prepare and review project estimates, change orders, and financial reports..
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in telecommunications construction, with a strong understanding of fiber optic networks, wireless infrastructure, and related technologies.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Working Conditions:
• This position involves frequent travel to construction sites and may require work outside of regular business hours.
• The role may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions and construction hazards.
• Physical demands may include lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces.
