COPPER I&R TECHS – EASTERN TN
Job Description
We have full-time COPPER I&R TECH positions in Eastern Tennessee - Tri-Cities market. We are the Prime in these markets. The primary function is to install Copper internet services, providing world class quality, and product education for residential and commercial customers.
Responsibilities
• Installation, maintenance, and repairing of Copper systems for residential and commercial customers.
• Ensuring adequate performance of internet, phone and if applicable, television services
• Complete pre-install work order and post-install service verification and customer education to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Place aerial or buried Copper drop wire and install interior/exterior wiring.
• Observe all safety rules and OSHA regulations.
• Able to work at heights by using/setting up various types of ladders.
• Able to work in tight spaces.
• Teamwork - Assist other technicians in the performance of their duties when requested.
• Must convey a positive and professional appearance and demeanor when communicating the company’s products and services to our customers.
• Have an ability to adapt to new processes and new information frequently.
• Use internal systems for work order notation and time keeping.
• Maintain minimum acceptable metrics with Repeats, Productivity, NPS and Completions.
Qualifications
• Must have Hst 3000, ONX-580 with xDSL bonded module.
• Must satisfy company required tools and safety equipment checklist.
• Copper internet and home phone service experience with knowledge of Copper plant and premise wiring.
• Must have own truck, van, or SUV with a ladder rack.
• Able to lift up to 80lbs unassisted.
• Android smartphone and Laptop (no Chromebook) are required.
• Effective communication skills and ability to multi-task.
