Job Description
Coordinate and oversee underground cable construction projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field crews to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
- Utilize mapping tools and read maps effectively to plan and execute project routes.
- Manage project logistics, including equipment and materials procurement, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Act as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, budgets, and progress summaries.
Requirements:
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal) is essential.
- Proven experience in underground cable construction, particularly in drilling for cable installation.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting maps for project planning and execution.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and access to a truck for transportation to project sites.
- Prior experience in project coordination or management is advantageous.
