Qualifications
Know how to operate EXFO testing equipment, OTDR and OLTS. Know how to operate Fujikura ribbon splicer and accessories.
Other Requirements
Valid drivers license and ability to pass a drug test and background check.
Job Description
Spartan Lineman LLC is looking for an experienced fiber splicer. You will be splicing and testing on a FTTH project.
Must be proficient in the following:
-Reading and transcribing maps / blueprints
-Case and fiber preparation.
-Clearfield hub assembly and splicing.
-Splicing with Fujikura ribbon splicer.
-Testing with EXFO testing equipment, OTDR and OLTS.
-Bucket truck operation and driving with attached trailer.
All work is based in Connecticut
No on call, flexible schedule.
Pay will be based off of experience of splicer.
