Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Telecom Crew Manager to oversee the operations of our field crews. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications and proven leadership skills to ensure the successful completion of projects while maintaining safety standards and adhering to deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate field crews engaged in pole transfers, pole violation work, pole removal, and placement work.
Provide guidance and direction to crew members, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and industry standards.
Plan and schedule crew assignments, equipment usage, and material procurement to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Conduct regular safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
Monitor project progress, identify challenges, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project success.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications, addressing inquiries, concerns, and project updates.
Collaborate with other departments, contractors, and stakeholders to support project objectives and maintain positive working relationships.
Manage crew performance, evaluate individual and team performance, and provide coaching and feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role in the telecommunications industry.
Strong knowledge of pole transfers, pole violation work, pole removal, and placement work.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite, and other industry apps.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
