Job Description
(FIBER) Installation Technicians: (NO METERS NEEDED!!!!)
WE WILL TRAIN if you have Internet, Satellite, or CATV experience
TOOL BONUS/TOOL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM AVAILABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Experienced Technicians preferred
*** WE WILL TRAIN if you have Fiber, GPON, Low Voltage, Satellite, or CATV experience.***
*** Will will train low voltage and Greenhorns that are mechanically inclined with heavy ladder experience.***
Training Rate: 18 an hour
Days off are to be determined by client, sometimes client mandatory OT
Fiber Installers are engaged with performing installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-speed internet. Also, the wiring and equipment of data and voice networks.
MUST HAVE: (Requirements)
* A truck, van, or SUV with a ladder rack and 28’ ladder with hooks needed for aerial work.
* Must NOT be afraid of heights, we work up in the air on a 28-foot ladder.
* Technician must have their own tools to perform the job.
* Requirement in this market is Laptop with Windows 10
* Technician must have some Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), lace up boots with a defined 1/2-inch heel, and safety cones. (Other PPE
will be provided by local management.)
* Must be available to work flexible hours.
* We provide “fiber light meter” at no cost but a contract is signed that states you will take care of replacing if needed
* WILL TRAIN if you have Fiber, GPON, Low Voltage, Satellite, or CATV experience.
* Yearly Earning $1200 - $3000 a week
Responsibilities:
* Perform residential fiber installations
* Observe all safety rules and regulations.
* Assist other technical personnel in the performance of their duties when requested.
* Must convey a positive and professional appearance and demeanor when communicating the company's products and services to our
customers.
* Direct customer facing work
* Accountability/dependability (on time and on load when scheduled and serve on call as needed).
* Teamwork (technical expertise developed to complete work efficiently to achieve work group key service measures).
* Assume all other duties as assigned
