W2 or 1099 Fiber Splicers needed for Mid Splits

2 years Fiber splicing experience preferred - Project specific training provided. **Valid DL in good standing - Must be able to pass Background check and Drug test.**

W2 all equipment supplied - 1099 Contractors need own Bucket Truck, Viavi ONX-630 Meter, tools and PPE. (If you do not have the meter, arrangements can be made.) General Liability and Vehicle insurance required.

Fiber splicing is performed at NIGHT between 10PM to 7AM.
Experience in loose buffer tube splicing.
Ability to read and interpret design maps.
Building new cases and rearrange existing cases.
Prep OSP cables including bonding.
Mid-span fiber cable for cases or PED's.
The ability to work outside of a trailer for PED splicing.
Setting NID enclosures with riser guard.
Trouble shooting with OTDR + ability to analyze test results.
Common trouble shooting.
Ability to complete tasks on your own.
Close a project by completing production sheets, verifying proper levels after activation, adjust and troubleshoot, as necessary and closing maintenance tickets.
May be required to perform additional duties and tasks as required by the Company.
