Pay

$26-$32/hour or higher with those that have 5+ years experience and bring their own 3-4 man crew. 50-60+ hours per week plus O.T.

Qualifications

Must have minimum 2-3+ years of drilling, directional boring, Mud system, mix & pour, experienced working with Vermeer 2022, falcon systems is A+.

Other Requirements

Must have valid DL, clean B/G and pass pre employment drug test. Own vehicle to get to site to and from. We provide hard hats, equipment. Anyone with CDL will receive additional $2-$3/hour additional added to their pay rate.

Job Title: Driller

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced driller to join our team. The driller will be responsible for operating drilling equipment to extract core samples, gather geological data, or facilitate various drilling operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in drilling techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

Operate drilling equipment, including but not limited to drill rigs, hoists, and support vehicles.
Conduct drilling operations in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Set up and prepare drilling sites, ensuring proper placement and alignment of equipment.
Monitor and control drilling parameters such as speed, pressure, and rotation to optimize drilling efficiency and safety.
Collect and analyze geological samples, logging data, and maintaining accurate records.
Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent breakdowns.
Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and other team members to achieve project goals.
Follow established safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe working environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions or operational issues.
Comply with environmental regulations and best practices to minimize the impact of drilling activities.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in drilling operations is a plus.
Proven experience as a driller, preferably in the relevant industry (e.g., oil and gas, construction, environmental).
Knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, and tools.
Ability to interpret geological data and make informed decisions during drilling operations.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Physical fitness and stamina to withstand the demands of the job, including working in challenging outdoor conditions.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various work sites.
Preferred Skills:

Certification in drilling operations or relevant industry standards.
Familiarity with computerized drilling control systems.
HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) certification for environmental drilling.
