CAT5 Construction Services, LLC. is currently accepting resumes, applications, and inquiries for experienced in-house horizontal drill operators and locators that specialize in rock drilling. The rock drill operator and locator will be responsible for daily installation of conduits, cable/fiber, vaults and pedestals. Other daily tasks may include removal and replacement of concrete/asphalt, street cores/cuts and sidewalk removal, along with hard and soft surface restoration. The ability to operate mini excavators, backhoes, fork lifts, and other types of equipment is a plus. Class A CDL is preferred. A clean driving record is a requirement.
Quality assurance and safety must be overriding goals along with the imperative demand to satisfy customer requirements.

Pre-field Job Walkouts
Understanding of Plat Maps
Understanding of Utility Locates and the Excavation of Existing Utilities
Understanding of ALL UG Construction Materials, Methods, Tools and Equipment
Knowledge of the Following a Plus:
Quality Assurance
Permitting - ROW, Traffic Control
Safety Protocols
MODOT Regulations
Damage Mitigation
Admin – Excel, Word and Outlook
Strong Communications Skills
