Qualifications
Must have clean background able to pass drug screen. Must have truck and all fiber tools. Tools will be verified before working. Must be willing to travel.
Other Requirements
Run pre connected fiber rolls along with splicing raw cable for longer runs.
Job Description
Responsibility
• Splice fiber optic or copper on various kinds of jobsites
• Work with Underground or Aerial crew to complete jobs
• Time management
• Preform daily pre and post trip checks on all jobsite equipment and vehicles
• Demonstrate good judgment in the field
• Work as a team with the crew foreman and other crew members
• Perform all duties adhering to company safety procedures and policies
• Operate Construction Equipment if needed
• Utilize standard telecommunications tools
• Access construction points as required
• Read and interpret engineering plans
• Follow Directions and communicate with Foreman or Supervisors
