Job Description
DMG, Drive Management Group, is seeking a Project Manager of Operations - Service Wire Center Jeopardy Management Analyst
The Project Manager of Operations - Service Wire Center Jeopardy Management Analyst is responsible for overall management of Client Jeopardy Management life cycle as it pertains to third party vendors once a job is flagged as at risk or on hold during the SWC placement process.
The PMO- Service Wire Center Jeopardy Management Analyst will work with vendors to understand roadblocks identified during the vendor pre-field process. These will be cataloged and resolved using approved Frontier processes and contacts.
The PMO- Service Wire Center Jeopardy Management Analyst will manage Jeopardy Status Queues through regular meetings with a remote, On-Process team to provide direction, training and respond to escalations as required by the team.
The PMO- Service Wire Center Jeopardy Management Analyst will provide regular reporting regarding status of Jeopardy Management Queues and resolution intervals for their team.
The PMO- Service Wire Center Jeopardy Management Analyst will interface with all management levels of the Clients engineering, dispatching and field departments to solve issues outside of a vendor’s scope to resolve.
The PMO- Service Wire Center Jeopardy Management Analyst will develop best practices and process for efficiently managing Service Wire Center fallout. The overall goal is to focus on customer satisfaction both internal and external.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Managing vendor non controllable Queues for pending Service Wire Center work across West, Central and East regions.
• Responding to customer inquiries and referring vendors to the proper channels to resolve issues preventing completion of pending service wire work.
• Reviewing non controllable queues daily and directing management of Jeopardy resolution process with remote team.
• Act as an escalation point for held SWC orders. Connect with correct internal and field departments to resolve common issues.
• Provide program reporting to Client stakeholders.
• Work to maintain a held order backlog to zero.
• Managing flow if fallout jobs from pre-field process into workable solutions using internal and external systems and departmental resources.
• Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets required program standards
• Develop processes that make the Jeopardy management program efficient and successful.
• Train vendors in identifying solutions for order delays. Educate on best practice.
• Special projects and other duties as prescribed.
Knowledge requirements include, but are not limited to:
• SWC installation guidelines and process (buried and aerial)
• Permitting process for BSW placement.
• BSW Sketch documentation and SWC redline requirements.
• Installation standards and practices associated with Frontier fiber inside and outside supply requirements.
• Knowledge of Telecommunications engineering, construction, and installation principles and procedures.
• Vendor contracts and associated terms and conditions.
• Target pricing for vendor-provided activity.
• Vendor performance-management procedures.
• Federal, state, local, and company operational and safety standards.
• Company work assignment and invoicing systems, e.g., Varasset, VX Field, SWC, Dig-Alert, GAP mapping.
• General understanding of GO95 and GO128 requirements.
Skill requirements include, but are not limited to:
• 2 years of OSP experience preferred but not required.
• Remote team management skills.
• Effective communication skills a must.
• Project Management experience.
• Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Partnering with and managing third-party providers.
• Project scheduling, updating, and due-date management.
• Quality inspections via on-site and remote technology.
• Invoice, time sheet, and payment review and audits.
• Company facility records updates.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders including Customer Operations, Outside Plant Construction and Engineering, Logistics, Finance, Contract Administration, Corporate Sourcing, vendors, and federal, state, and local governing agencies.
• Ability to work overtime, be on call for nights and weekends and work as required to accomplish objectives.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Possession of valid driver license.
