Qualifications
Must have a min of 2 years fiber optic or cable installation experience. Must be able to perform mandatory job site inspections to ensure employee w all company safety policies and procedures. Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. must be able to work a very flexible schedule. Must be able to work in a fast-paced time sensitive environment. Job Description
Always Underground INC (AUI) is looking for a Residential Fiber Installation Field Supervisor to join our team and help lead their team in Kenosha, Wisconsin. We provide experienced and reliable customer service professionals to the nation’s leading telecommunications providers! This is a long term opportunity with an excellent opportunity for advancement. There are no aerial drops, this is a 100% UG fiber network that is brand new.
Supervise a team of FTTH in-home installation technicians
Coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of field staff.
Coordinate scheduling, assist dispatch with daily job routing and ensure adequate staffing.
Identify problem areas in the department and communicate problems and possible solutions to the Project Manager.
Develop procedures and implement them to better organize the team/department.
Assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to technicians.
Assist in recruitment and training efforts.
Assist in warehousing and logistics support as needed to supplement the warehouse staff
Establish, implement, and maintain operating standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
Track employee performance, tool assignments, vehicle assignments, uniforms, consumable items, etc. through the creation and use of spreadsheets and other documents
Perform quality control inspections to correct and coach any issues found
Interface with customers to resolve complaints and damages resulting from installation work
Perform various field technician duties as needed, including but not limited to, carrying and climbing a ladder when necessary.
Perform other duties not listed here, as they arise, and as they are assigned to you.
