Underground Construction Crewmember

A successful underground crewmember shall assist the crew by:

· Equipping the crew with tools, materials, and supplies

· Cleaning the work area, machines, and tools

· Assisting the Operator and Locator with all aspects of the project

· Performing traffic control duties as directed by the crew leader

Duties to include:

· Digging hand holes and trenches

· Setting peds/vaults

· Ground restoration

· Gathering necessary equipment for that day’s job

· Keeping all equipment ,tools, and vehicles in clean working order

Requirements

· Must have a valid Driver’s License

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check, drug test, and job related physical
