Job Description
Frontier fiber buries in rural areas - DFW, San Angelo, Corpus Christi. 4 months+ on road starting late October. 7 days per week. Crew is paid $50-$55 / hour + $100 / day per diem. Crew usually 2-man, or 1 man with trencher. 2 man crew normally lead man and a helper. Bore capable preferred but not required.
Long buries - 200'+. Each crew expected to bury' / day. Guaranteed 12 hours / day, working or not, as long as required daily footage is maintained. Some buries 1000'+.
Therefore 7 days / week, 12 hours / day, $50-$55 / hour = $4200 - $4600 / week + Per Diem.
