Job Description

We are hiring an experienced area manager for our Southern California area. Must have experience in telecommunication. Company provides truck, gas and cell phone. Must have good driving record. Bilingual Spanish a plus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Manage all complaints
Be able to speak in public
Attend all city council meetings when needed
Work with Project managers to be sure all yards run according to Line Works Standards
Will conduct yearly reviews for the project managers, issue corrective a
Make sure safety is followed and enforced
Train and mentor Project managers and employees.
Insure all Project managers have proper training and the man power to perform all required task given out by the customer
settle all complaints from customer, city and frontier
Attend all weekly Frontier meetings.
Make sure all project managers and reports are all up to date with notes for Frontier
Travel between 8 cities 3 or more times a week
Open and prep startups for new yards as required by Frontier
Monitor all employees and subcontractors on the field at the job sites to make sure jobs are being performed correctly and following safety guidelines.
Manage all yearly reviews for all project managers.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
5 plus years in Telecommunications business
OSHA Knowledge.
Knowledge of all safety guidelines and all equipment used on the field.
5 plus years experience in a leadership role
Must be able to train and mentor
Underground knowledge.
Overhead and splicing skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Positive attitude
Knowledge of billing, and accounting
Problem solving.
knowledge of all CAL TRAINS TC standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient Microsoft applications.
Experience acquiring new business vendors.
Negotiation skills a plus
Must have clean driving record
Requires to travel
