Splicing Van/ Trailer with tools in good condition, OTDR with CWDM & DWDM modules, fusion splicing machine equivalent to a Fujikura 70S-R
Job Description
-Experience using fusion splicer, test equipment OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Refelctometer), DWDM, CWDM, 945 OLTS, Max Tester, Power meter.
-Must be able to prep work must look neat and everything must be tested. All Burns done right the first time
-Ribbon splicing expertise mandatory
-Ring cuts / Mid entry on High Count fibers, butt splices and splice cabinets
-Experience with CWDM, DWDM, Band Splitters and filters
-Trouble shooting of OSP with live fiber testing
-Knowledge of fiber design, reading documentation, understanding of light levels and dB loss.
-Enclosures FOSC 450 B&D, FOSC 600, Coyote POP
-Required to measure/ record light signals. Pictures required via text /email.
-Night Work 8-10-hour shifts- Mon-Fri
-Work indoor and outdoor utility construction sites
-Local position. We do not offer relocation.
-Pass background check
-Valid Driver’s License, Commercial Auto Insurance and 1mil GL
