Strong leadership skills and a minimum of 2 years' experience as a foreman in a similar role. CDL Class A is a Plus

Vermeer 24x40 or similar, Ditch Witch Rt125 Cable plow or similar
Job Description
As Directional Drill Foreman, you are responsible for operating and overseeing a 2-3-man crew which will be operating horizontal/directional drill rigs, locating equipment (including Metrotech line locating equipment), excavating equipment, and cable plowing equipment.
Operate and oversee day to day crew activates including Horizontal Directional Drill for installation of underground telecommunications cable conduit.
Complete vehicle pre trip inspections and daily productions reports.
Perform all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipment.
Setup and cleanup work sites including traffic and pedestrian control.
Spot utilities where needed.
Ensure that the teams workmanship conforms to company and customer specifications and satisfaction.
Trench work and Finishing Grading
Transport equipment and or trucks safely to/from various job sites.
Perform basic equipment and vehicle maintenance including greasing, fluid level checks, and making minor mechanical and electrical repairs.
Lead teams effectively with a positive attitude.
This work will primary be for the Placement of 2'' duct and handholes for various fiber to the home projects in Rual, Suburban and Urban aeras throughout Western and Central NYS
